A Day in the Life of a GIANT supported by Macquarie Group

The Day in the Life of a GIANTS leadership workshop is the first of its kind for the club, and saw female participants invited out to the club for a full day of classroom and practical activities with AFLW and netball players and coaches.

The attendees gained valuable insights into high performance sports; leadership and resilience; living a healthy and active lifestyle; and ultimately what it takes to become a professional female athlete.

Almost 70 female students were nominated by their teachers and coaches to participate. These schools around Western Sydney have been identified as having a wealth of aspiring athletes from diverse backgrounds.
