About the GIANTS Foundation
We work to inspire hope, foster courage and leverage the power and positive influence of sport to enhance the lives of those in our communities. Since 2012 we’ve contributed over $13.5m to reach people in need and grow our game in Greater Western Sydney, Regional NSW and Canberra. With support, we’ll keep connecting and amplifying our impact – on the field and within our communities.
Our Impact
Our philanthropic programs empower young people from culturally diverse, low socio-economic, and disadvantaged backgrounds to reach their full potential.
Guided by our four key community pillars – Health, Harmony, Education, and Employment – these programs have positively impacted thousands of young people across Western Sydney, Southern NSW, and the ACT.
Together, we can shape the future of AFL and AFLW by supporting more than 1,000 young athletes aged 12–19 each year. With a strong focus on community connection, the GIANTS Academy provides genuine pathways for talent from across NSW, the ACT, and Western Sydney — including over 160 athletes from multicultural and Indigenous backgrounds.
Since its inception in 2011, the Academy has produced 64 AFL and 10 AFLW players, including stars such as Kieren Briggs, Harry Himmelberg, Tarni Evans, and Alyce Parker – and Tom Green, a proud Academy graduate and Kevin Sheedy Medal winner.
Your support helps create opportunities for the next generation of champions – both on and off the field.
